My career has been based on helping nonprofits manage their data, but my passion for giving back extends to all aspects of charity and volunteerism! I'm proud to share some of my favorite passion projects - both professionally and personally.
OFDALAF Women's Cooperative - Haiti
One of my hobbies outside of work is making my own soaps and bath products. I was thrilled to have the opportunity in 2014 to go to Haiti to work with a group of women who are rebuilding their lives after the 2010 earthquake by making and selling handmade bath and body products.
I worked for Operation Smile for eight years and it will always remain close to my heart. I had the opportunity to travel all over the world working with our global foundations and had the privilege of going on missions in Morocco and Brazil.
The Hermitage No-Kill Cat Shelter and Sanctuary
I've adopted two cats from this cat sanctuary in Tucson, Arizona and am also a volunteer. I love that they are not just a shelter, but a sanctuary. Cats have a home for life if they're not adopted.
A DC-area dog rescue from which we adopted the two cutest members of our family. We adopted Izzy in 2010, and were fostering Tali a year later when we realized we were "foster fails"...we fell in love with him, too, and officially added him to the family!
